I have the privilege and honor of knowing the authors of this book. I also had knowledge of some of the content of this book before I read it. So you would think that my review would be bias, right? Well... it is, but... this is hands down one of the best books I have ever read.
If you are holding on to hatred for someone or can’t let go of a situation in your life where you have been wronged, this book is for you. But it is so much more than that. It is also a story of God working in ways that we can’t always see when it is happening. Thankfully He shows us, in His timing, so He gets the glory... not us.
I bought this book this morning and couldn’t put it down. I read it cover to cover in just a few hours. I guarantee you won’t be able to put it down either. I also promise you will be blessed...
Two servants of God are brought under spiritual and physical attack when tragedy occurred, prompting an unlikely but unworldly response that sets the stage. Satan and his efforts to discredit God and destroy the Faithful are totally blindsided by a linebackeresque blow that reveals new players on the Kingdom team as God moves in powerful ways!
Most all our decisions are based in a pattern of thought, originating from God given free will. The story within these pages illustrates the significance, and source of many of the thoughts we have, described often times by many as "this voice in my head". What happens when you dismiss the voice, or are obedient can be the difference between a mediocre day, or a life changing miracle!
Anyone who has ever wondered what the "voice" means, or where it comes from, will be well served to read this story. As it unfolds, there is also an answer to help us understand one of life's greatest mysteries- "why do bad things happen to good people"?
Living in the county where this tragedy occurred, I knew many of the people mentioned in the book. Many parts of the book moved me to tears through the many acts of God's movements.
A tragedy, followed by an act of forgiveness, brought unlikely people together to not only help each other through their grief but to create a ministry of love and family. They will forever be connected by not only this tragedy but also their faith in Jesus Christ.
If we only lived a world with more people just like the authors and those highlighted in the book, it would be an incredible place.
Thank you for the amazing testimony, J.T. and Terri Lee!
This book is a must have! If you don’t own it put it on your Christmas list. Amazing what good can come out of a tragic loss when you have Jesus at your side. You won’t want to put the book down, I had to limit myself to one chapter a night I didn’t want the book to end.
I loved how JT and Terry turned a sad loss into a positive life changing for them and so many others they have touched. They listen to the Lord and follow His direction. I will use this guidance of theirs to mentor the ones I come in fellowship with. Thank you for sharing.
I know J. T.'s story and his book will cement true forgiveness in your mind. I recommend it.
God's amazing Grace and mercy exemplified in this well written account of loss, love, healing, forgiveness and growth. Glory be to God!
